Mossoro service opportunity.  John and Maira have been working with Pastor Gutemberg and his wife Ana in constructing a new church in Mossoro, Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil.  The church, which formally opened in 2024, has a duel use as both a church and school for special needs kids including autism, where Ana has focused over the years in music therapy for these special children.  They serve approximately 30 children and their families from this location.  In 2025, it is expected that the 2nd phase of construction will be complete, which is the completion of the school interiors on the second floor of the church building, and would provide an opportunity for volunteers to work with these special children, while also working in the community on service and evangelism opportunities.  It is expected that 8 – 12 people could participate in this trip, including families and the mission time frame would be June 2026, and would cost approximately 2,500 per person. The project is not defined yet, but would be an opportunity to use the church grounds to promote a VBS-type event that would bring the community to connect further with the church and hear the Gospel. Possible activities include a simplified VBS program, basic English conversation/lessons, game activities, etc…
